See below on how you can sign up and come along..

Over the Summer The REP will be out and about getting local communities to discover theatre on their doorstep.

Visiting eight community centres, including Aston, Ward End, Welsh House Farm, Kitts Green and Ladywood local people will have the chance to create a play in a day, in a workshop led by members of The REP’s Learning and Participation Department. The day will introduce those taking part to the skills of theatre making as well as developing an understanding of how to bring stories from their communities to life on stage.

Becky Deeks, Education Officer at The REP says:

“This Summer, our Play in a Day sessions will work directly with local community groups across Birmingham. These sessions will be led by members of The REP’s Learning and Participation team and will provide a platform to show participants how theatre can be used as an exciting way to explore and share their stories.”
